It’s the greatest moment of your life. You make movies and you’re at the Canned Film Festival. Imagine the tension as you hear your name called out as one of the nominees of the many categories. The envelope is opened and then quite unexpectedly, the host of the event, Mr Bill Colons, damns your performance … and everybody else’s! It is an outrage. Then the co-host, John Behinde, strives to make peace.
Each of the movie houses (your teams) is given the task of creating a new Hollywood Blockbuster in the next 2 hours. In that time they are given a brief on their roles and how to use their digital video cameras and their budget. The teams will need to allocate themselves to the many roles required to make a hit movie. There will be the Actors, Director, camera operator, props and costumes, even the movie-house marketing group.
Sure there were plenty of laughs during the movie making and the screening of the movies, but the tension builds again as C.A.C. (Canned Academy Committee) headed by Bill Colons, approaches the stage.
